Kickstarter Update
We have 7 days left on our Kickstarter and are 63% funded. I am confident that we will reach our goal, but it will take a little generosity from complete strangers and the desire to see this magazine get off the ground for us to reach our goal.
We have seen amazing support for the project, and the one thing you don’t think about when you start something like this is how many people have touched your life. The greatest thing for me to have come out of this experience is the ability to reconnect with people whom I love but circumstances have forced us to drift apart. Whether it’s a big move, a change in careers, or simply being so wrapped up in your own stuff to reach out and connect with another human being, relationships become these shadow images like stars in the sky, there is so much energy and brilliance that occupies that space, but the farther away you get the more disconnected we become and we forget the power of this little light. Which really is why I think art, in any of its forms, is so important. We need that human connection whether it is on the page, stage, screen, wall, or turn table.
